Japanese actor Mokomichi Hayami has been chosen as the lead in TBS network’s live-action tv adaptaion of Yamato Kogunemaru and Namoshiro Tanahashi’s hit manga Hammer Session!, reports Anime News Network.
He plays a con artist who, in order to escape the law, goes into hiding and takes on the role of a teacher named Gorou Hachisuka.
Gorou employs a shocking form of teaching method known as “hammer session”.
Mirai Shida and Jingi Irie play his student.
